This healthy blueberry crisp is made with just a handful of ingredients and is naturally gluten and refined-sugar free, making it the perfect option for a healthy summer dessert!
Preheat oven to 350. Pour blueberries, lemon zest, cinnamon and maple syrup (if using) into an 8x8" square baking dish, or round pie dish, and toss to coat blueberries.
In a bowl, mix all the ingredients together for the crumble. Feel free to taste and adjust the cinnamon or maple syrup to your preferences. Use your hands to sprinkle the mixture over top the blueberries.
Bake for 40 - 50 minutes. Let cool for at least 7 - 10 minutes, then serve immediately!
Notes
Make it ahead! You can make this ahead of time, and reheat later. To reheat: set oven to 300 degrees, and bake for 15-20 minutes covered in tinfoil (so the top doesn't burn!)
