    Paleo Tahini Banana Bread {Gluten Free, Sugar Free, Dairy Free}

    Paleo Tahini Banana Bread - that's a lot to take in. Let's break it down...

    Paleo: ya know, nothing processed, all real food, etc...

    Tahini: creamy, delicious goodness & one of the best sources of calcium

    Banana Bread: basically the best treat, but I didn't really need to tell you that

    Are you on board yet?

    The 2 main ingredients of this bread are in the title: Tahini & Banana. Add some almond flour to give it a "bready" texture, some eggs to bind it all together, and a touch of honey to sweeten it ever-so-slightly, and that's it! You could also leave the honey out and make it less sweet. OR, you could add in chocolate chips and make it more sweet. Go crazy.

    I loved topping my Tahini Banana Bread with even more Tahini (!!!) and some yogurt and granola. Also, it would be delicious with a drizzle of honey. And on its own!

    Paleo Tahini Banana Bread
    A sweet and savory paleo bread that is super simple to make, and sure to satisfy your cravings!
    Prep Time 5 minutes
    Cook Time 40 minutes

    Ingredients
    Dry Ingredients
    • 1.5 Cups Almond Flour
    • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
    • ½ teaspoon Baking soda
    Wet Ingredients
    • 3 Overripe Bananas (+1 to top, if desired)
    • 3 Eggs, room temperature
    • ½ Cup Tahini
    • 1 teaspoon Vanilla
    • ¼ Cup Honey Optional
    Prep Time 5 minutes
    Cook Time 40 minutes

    • 3 Eggs, room temperature
    • ½ Cup Tahini
    • 1 teaspoon Vanilla
    • ¼ Cup Honey Optional
    Instructions
    1. Preheat oven to 350 and grease a 9x5" loaf pin, or line with parchment paper.
    2. Mash bananas in a bowl. Add the rest of the wet ingredients and mix well. Add the almond flour and baking powder/soda, and stir until just combined. Optional: add some chocolate chips or walnuts.
    3. Pour into loaf pan and bake for 40 - 47 minutes, or until toothpick inserted comes out clean.
    Recipe Notes

    Note: This bread is not very sweet, even with the ¼ C of Honey. If you want to make a sweeter treat, you can add more honey, add some coconut sugar, or add in some chocolate chips!
